Hangin' with Gramma and Grampa

Jack got to spend a long weekend with Gramma Debbie and Grampa David and they had a blast. Here are some pictures of them at the children's museum:

Jack showing his skills

We finally got the video camera out and made a few videos. The boy likes to eat so trying to get him to perform during dinner wasn't easy. All three are pretty similar, but he never really stops stuffing his face.

Fat Lip

Here is Jack with his buddy Luke just after they hit the jackpot by finding a stash of puffs in the kitchen!

These pictures are a few months old but they are from Jack's first real face smash. He was running as fast as his chubby little legs would carry him - which was obviously not fast enough because he dragged a toe and did a full face plant onto a brick road. Never got his hands up at all....straight face to brick. The pictures don't do it justice because he bled pretty good. This just shows a fat lip and scrape on the nose, but we thought he might have lost some teeth. He made a quick recovery and was back to running around shortly.

Birthday Party

Sorry for not updating this often. Its been a crazy couple of months. But we're all healthy again (at least for now) so hopefully I can stay on top of this a little better. Here is a new picture of Jack while celebrating the 1st birthday of his buddy Harris.

Mr. Cool

I know what you're thinking...we rubbed this food on his face to make a funny picture. But he really did this himself. I'm not even sure how...I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't witnessed it myself. The guy's good...especially the eye brows. How do you get that much squash in your eyebrows? Anyway, whether he's got squash all over his face or he's wearing shades, Jack is one cool cucumber...

Christmas

Here's Jack with his Gramma Marsha back in Michigan.

Opening one of his bazillion Christmas gifts. It doesn't look like much but these little sticky bath toys have made our life a LOT easier come bath time.
Here's Jack showing off his beloved pizza from his kitchen, that he got for Christmas. I've been assured by Erin that kitchens are COMPLETELY normal for little boys to play with!
Here's the fat man doing some shoveling. You'll never believe it but we only paid $1 for that hat. One of my biggest regrets in life is not buying more of those hats...what a deal!
He didn't really get the whole Christmas thing completely, but he did enjoy opening presents and peaking into his stocking. Here he looks like he's not sure whether there is candy in there, or something that is going to bite him...

Revolutionary Parenting

You can't learn this in any parenting book. If these two videos don't win us "Parents of the Year", I'm not sure what will...
